Keno welcomes Rural Aid as its newest community partner today with a $100,000 boost to support more Aussie farmers.

Rural Aid helps farmers before, during and after natural disasters with services such as financial assistance, disaster response and mental health initiatives.

“Rural Aid stands united with our friends in the bush, providing the much-needed support to foster resilient communities,” Rural Aid CEO John Warlters said.

“Farmers are grappling with the challenges of droughts, storms and rising living costs. Their struggle goes beyond feeding their own families; it’s about ensuring we all have food on our tables.

“This generous contribution from Keno will greatly enhance our programs and lead to positive outcomes for rural communities across the nation.”

Our Keno General Manager of Licensed Venue Operations Paul Malek said the partnership would not only address immediate needs but provide farming communities with long-term solutions.

“Keno is played at hotels and clubs across the country, and these venues are often the heart of their local community in both good times and bad times,” he said.

“Thanks to our venues and customers, we’re privileged to be able to play our part in strengthening access to the essential resources and assistance these rural communities need.”
