We’re lighting up the night this Christmas with The Lott by Golden Casket City Hall Lights.

The much-loved display is bringing the joy these holidays, attracting tens of thousands of visitors to Brisbane's City Hall.

It’s the 12th year in a row we’ve supported this free event. This year, the six-minute show – written by local author Rebecca Sheraton – takes both young and old on a magical adventure as Santa's sleigh crash-lands and a group of friendly Aussie bush animals come to the rescue.

Our Chief Executive Officer Sue van der Merwe joined Cr Vicki Howard, Rebecca and Channel 9’s Reece D'Alessandro to turn on the lights.

"Christmas is a time for families to come together, and there’s a deep sense of joy in being part of something that unites people,” Sue said.

“We extend our warmest wishes to all our customers and their families for a merry Christmas and a safe, joyful holiday season."

See the light show in King George Square every 15 minutes from 7.30pm nightly until Christmas Eve.
