We made our first community contribution today as The Lottery Corporation; the first of many positive initiatives under a wider ESG strategy to help build a better tomorrow.
We’re proudly supporting two world-leading University of Queensland research projects - one to supercharge the production of future vaccines, the other to treat chronic pain using spider venom.
Today’s $500,000 contribution from unclaimed prizemoney takes The Lott by Golden Casket’s support of UQ research to $2 million over the past three years.
“Australia’s official lotteries have a long and incredibly proud history of supporting important health infrastructure and services,” The Lott Partnerships Manager Ally Ramsamy said.
“We’re delighted to be able to continue our support by providing funding to these two incredible research projects aiming to improve health outcomes.
“We’re in the business of making dreams come true – not just for our winners, but also for these researchers at The University of Queensland who are dedicated to finding new health technologies and treatments.”
