We’re thrilled to have been part of the record $3.3 million raised for sick children at last week’s AFL Footy Show Grand Final: My Room Telethon on Channel 9.
We donated $100,000 to help My Room improve the quality of life for children with cancer through research, clinical care and family support.
My Room CEO Margaret Zita thanked everyone who supported the volunteer-run organisation and its important goal of helping families until there’s a cure.
“We’ll now forge forward to ensure that we get this money where it’s needed,” she said.
“We’re striving for children to get the best treatment they deserve in this country while we support them on their journey.”
The Lott’s Partnerships Manager Ally Ramsamy said she was proud to support My Room’s vital work.
“Without them, many families and children would miss out on the specialist support they so desperately need,” Ally said.
“The fact that My Room has achieved what it has is a testament to the founding families, the volunteers, and all who donate.”
